19:30: Sheffield United triumphed 4-2 at Hillsborough in September – a standout result amid a woeful season for the Owls.
Dos Luhukay is determined to use the derby as a building block and, discussing the reverse fixture, he said: “It’s in the past, but I have looked at the game and seen a couple of things we must do better, so I hope we can [on Friday].
“We need a to win a game because it’s been a long time without one. It would give us more confidence for the games we have coming up.
“When the results are not positive, the confidence is not very high. So we have been working hard to give the team tools and to make sure we have a good feeling [in the squad].”

19:15: Sky Sports’ Championship expert David Prutton believes we’re in for a thrilling 90 minutes at Bramall Lane.
“A new era begins for Sheffield Wednesday under Jos Luhukay, and what a place it is for him to start,” he said.
“If he didn’t know what the Steel City derby was about already, he will by the end of Friday night.
“It’s a real baptism of fire for him.
“The first game between these two at Hillsborough was one of the games of the season in the Championship and, once again, this is a tough one to call.
“I’m going to have to go for an entertaining draw.
“2-2 with Leon Clarke to score first.”

It looks set to be a corker of a Championship clash between the bitter rivals.
Let’s start with the Owls. They have a new manager in the dugout – Dutchman Jos Luhukay.
The Bundesliga promotion expert has no experience of English football but is aware of the importance of this game to the fans.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Luhukay said: “It’s important for the team and for the players to have a good feeling after the game.
“Derbies are highlights in a season, they are not normal games.”
United also have some new faces on show.
Chris Wilder strengthened his squad this week with the captures of James Wilson from Manchester United, Ryan Leonard from Southend and Lee Evans from Wolves.
They are unlikely to start but will be desperate to make an impact if they do get on the pitch.
