09:00: Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo claim Barcelona risk losing a raft of talented teenagers to Premier League clubs.
The publication claim scouts from Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are frequently in attendance at the La Masia academy to survey Barcelona’s brightest talents in action.
Mateu Morey, Sergi Gomez and Juan Miranda are three names believed to have been enquired about, and can leave for a paltry £2.5million compensation fees.

Real Madrid receive Thibaut Courtois boost
06:30: Real Madrid have been given a boost in their pursuit of Thibaut Courtois, with the Chelsea shot-stopper reportedly keen on moving back to the Spanish capital.
Courtois spent three years in Madrid plying his trade for Real’s arch-rivals Atletico on loan from Chelsea.
It was there that he was able to establish himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world before returning to Stamford Bridge in 2014.
However, the Belgium international has consistently been linked with a move back to Madrid, but to play for Real.
And Spanish newspaper Marca claim Courtois remains an “outside bet” to move to the Bernabeu.
Valencia plot Walcott move
06:00: Valencia are plotting a summer swoop for Theo Walcott, according to reports.
The attacker has made only seven starts for the Gunners this term, with them all arriving in either the Europa League or EFL Cup.
The limited game time means Walcott is now almost certain to make Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the World Cup in Russia.
The club are thought to be trying to sell their star assets instead of risking them walking away for free.
And El Gol Digital report he will be offered an olive branch by Valencia.

Pique leads dressing room revolt over Coutinho
04:30: Gerard Pique is said to be furious that Philippe Coutinho is set to be handed a bigger contract than him at Barcelona, should the club lure him away from Liverpool.
Barcelona have not given up hope of signing Coutinho, despite Liverpool supposedly not willing to listen to offers in the New Year.
Coutinho made it clear in the summer that he wanted to leave when he handed in a transfer request with Barcelona having three bids knocked back.
But his potential arrival could spark unrest in the Barcelona dressing room.
That’s according to Diario Gol, who claim Pique is not happy about the prospect of Coutinho coming in and being handed a bigger contract than him.
Ross Barkley transfer doubt
03:00: Sam Allardyce has conceded he can’t control whether or not Ross Barkley leaves Everton.
Chelsea even agreed on a deal before Barkley snubbed the chance to join them.
Both Premier League clubs are likely to resurrect their interest in the England international when the transfer window reopens in January.
And Allardyce admits he’s not sure what the 24-year-old will decide to do.
“It’s a difficult one,” Allardyce said.
“I haven’t had the opportunity yet to find out the true, or the whole, scenario and say, ‘Where does it lie?’ and then make a decision one way or the other.”
Mourinho to offload Mkhitaryan for Ozil money
01:30: Jose Mourinho is supposedly willing to offload Henrikh Mkhritaryan in order to make room to sign Mesut Ozil from Arsenal.
Mkhitaryan has found himself out of Mourinho’s first team plans in recent weeks and hasn’t even been in the match day squad for United’s last four Premier League matches.
The Red Devils boss openly criticised the Armenia international last month for his “decreasing” performance levels.
And the Mirror claim Mourinho is willing to sacrifice Mkhitaryan in an attempt to free up the funds to sign Ozil.
The Germany international is out of contract at the end of the season and would be available for a cut-price fee next month.
But it is reported Mourinho will still need to sell before he can bring in anyone else.

Rose to United, Shaw to Newcastle
22:15: Danny Rose will replace Luke Shaw at Manchester United – but he will have to sit on the bench at Old Trafford, according to Shaka Hislop, who reckons Shaw is destined to join Newcastle.
“I think Shaw is likely to leave. Jose Mourinho, as much as he’s started him a bit of late, I don’t think he’s ever been a fan,” Hislop told ESPN FC.
“Newcastle would have him, gladly, and probably that fresh start is exactly what Luke Shaw needs.
“Danny Rose, he had a few things to say earlier in the season when he was injured, after Kyle Walker left, criticising Tottenham’s transfer policy.
“I thought the writing was on the wall for Danny Rose and he would be a welcome addition going to Manchester United.
“The thing with this transfer though is that I feel that with Ashley Young has been very good on the left-hand side of defence.
“Rose, five years younger than Ashley Young, so it makes some sense in that regard. Saying that, as of where we are right now, I don’t think Danny Rose is an upgrade on Ashley Young.”

Arsenal are currently seventh in the table, a massive 19 points behind City at the top, following the 0-0 draw with West Ham yesterday.
And Burley says that gap would would be too much for Arsenal to claw back, let alone the 19 points to City.
“Let’s just take City out of the equation right, take them out. They still aren’t in the title race. Take City away, just move them,” Burley said.
“They’re still not in the title race, even if we give them the grace of taking Man City out of the equation.”

And the European champions are asking for £79million to allow him to return to the Premier League.
Coutinho or Ozil? That is the question…
17:30: Are you sitting comfortably? Good, because this transfer line is a complete minefield!
Barcelona’s bid to sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho continues, but the Catalan giants are unwilling to let the issue run throughout the transfer window, according to the Mirror.
The newspaper says reports in Spain suggest club bosses have decided that if a deal cannot be done by the end of December, then they will need to move on.
They could then look to sign Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, the paper adds.

Wilshere said: “We are in the same position as we were two weeks ago. Nothing’s changed.
“There’s not really a date in the diary. I’ve only read what the manager has said in the media.
“I’ve just played my first game in the Premier League, I’m concentrating on staying fit and staying in this team. The contract stuff will look after itself.

Liverpool eye Vrsaljko

According to The Sun, the Reds are hoping to tie up a deal for Vrsaljko.

The report says he is consulting his lawyers and asking them to strike a deal with Los Blancos to help lower his release clause.

He would also be able to sign a pre-contract next month if he wants to moved to foreign club.
But recent reports say United are his preferred destination.
